Hyrum Weibell, DBA -Salt Lake Piano Service Company
Hyrum has been servicing pianos for over 13 years and working with Daynes Music Company since March of 2011. He holds both Bachelor of Music and Master of Music degrees from Brigham Young University with an emphasis in Vocal Performance. He has completed all offered factory training courses from Steinway and Sons in Long Island City, New York. While Steinway is, of course, Hyrum’s favorite make of piano, he has also participated in manufacturer training from the Yamaha Corporation in Buena Park, California and a week-long rebuilding training from the Mason and Hamlin company.
Hyrum owns and operates Salt Lake Piano Service Company which currently serves many clients including the Utah Symphony, International Gina Bachauer Competition, and Utah State University. Working with his associate technicians, Jason Cassel, and Landon Wells, he offers tuning, repair, restringing, and rebuilding services. Hyrum is considered one of the best Steinway factory trained technicians and is currently a regional specialist in servicing the new SPIRIO pianos developed by Steinway and Sons.

Taylor Packer – Pro Piano Care
Taylor Packer holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Piano Performance from Utah State University. He has been working as a full-time Piano Technician since finishing his graduate studies in 2018.
His training as a Piano Technician includes: completing an internship at Daynes Music, working as a student technician at an All-Steinway School, and apprenticing with Steinway Technicians. He has also attended the Steinway & Sons factory in New York for the Regulation and Touch Seminar, Voicing and Tone Production Seminar, and Spirio Seminar.

Duncan Peterson – Serving the Provo Area
Duncan has been servicing pianos since 2003, is a Registered Piano Technician and has enjoyed association with Daynes Music since 2013. He began playing the trumpet at age 10 and the piano at age 11, quickly finding a love for music. He holds a BA in Music from BYU where he studied Organ Performance, while also working as a pipe organ builder for 2 1/2 years at M.L. Bigelow & Co. Organs in American Fork. He has completed all Steinway factory training courses.

Ron Jensen
Ron was born and raised in the Salt Lake City area. He began playing the piano at an early age, starting formal lessons at the age of four. He enjoys all types of music, but especially loves to play and listen to Jazz. Ron has performed as a Jazz musician throughout the Western United states and is renowned for his unique arrangements. Ron has worked as a recommended technician for Daynes Music for more than 15 years. His clientele include UVU, USU, JAZZ SLC, Red Butte Gardens, Travis Air force Base, Capital Theater, Rose Wagner Theater, the Gina Bachauer International Piano Competition, and the Utah Symphony. Ron’s tuning career has extended over 30 years.

Garret Taylor – Serving Cedar City to Las Vegas
Garrett is highly skilled and experienced with piano restorations and tunings. He has done concert tunings and restorations for top Steinway artists, world famous performers, and facilities including Elton John, David Osborn, Kurt Bestor, The Piano Guys, Marie Osmond, Bette Midler, and Alan Menken the Disney composer. Garrett tunes and repairs pianos for the Smith Center in Las Vegas, Tuacahn Center for the Arts, Center for the arts at Kayenta, and the St. George Tabernacle. He is the technician for SUU as well as all of the performance venues in Southern Utah. Garrett has been servicing and restoring pianos for close to 20 years.
